Dr. Warter’s 44 years of experience have been dedicated to advancing consciousness, health awareness, and global education. As a psychiatrist, lecturer, and author, he has created and led numerous seminars focused on the transformation of consciousness and self-awareness for both individuals and groups.
Born and raised in Chile, South America, Dr. Warter’s early years were shaped by his father’s work in the lumber industry. This exposure to diverse environments and people from a young age helped him develop remarkable adaptability and skill in managing various social situations and concurrent activities.
His literary career began early, with publications in newspapers and magazines starting at age eleven. In 1970, at age 23, he published his first book in Spanish, “Vaiven Vivencial,” which featured a prologue by Nobel Prize winner Pablo Neruda. This was followed by “Fragmentos’70” (a collection of poems and poetic prose), “Hijo del Universo” (1983), and “Unidos en Libertad” (1986), an illustrated children’s book.
Dr. Warter’s Travel Around the World
Dr. Warter’s extensive travels and studies have significantly influenced his professional development. In his early years, he studied with healers and shamans in Mexico and Peru. He lived in Northern Africa and Europe, and in 1978, he studied with Kabbalists in the Middle East. That same year, while maintaining a psychiatric practice in Colorado, he presented health theories to World Health Organization officials in Geneva.
His travels continued with nine visits to Egypt beginning in 1979, along with extensive journeys through India, Nepal, Thailand, Taipei, China, Hong Kong, and Japan. During these travels, he visited mental health and cultural institutions while engaging with both rural and urban communities. From November 1983 to January 1984, he conducted cultural research in French Polynesia, Fiji, and New Zealand, followed by studies of monotheistic religious structures in Egypt, Israel, and Italy in 1984. He also visited the Academy of Sciences in the USSR and Romania in spring 1987.
Throughout the 1990s, Dr. Warter conducted Psychoneuroimmunology and Psychosynergy Seminars across the United States and Latin America, particularly in Venezuela, Argentina, and Colombia. He has published 20 books in eight languages while maintaining his private psychiatric practice, delivering lectures, and engaging in family activities.
Dr. Warter’s Private Practice
Dr. Warter has maintained a diverse private practice focusing on drug rehabilitation and general psychiatry for both adults and adolescents. As a DEA-certified physician, he specializes in outpatient pain medicine and Buprenorphine/Suboxone detoxification programs.
Throughout his career, Dr. Warter has been extensively involved in South America, developing and leading group therapy programs and workshops across Colombia, Argentina, Uruguay, and Chile. Since 1984, he has been particularly active in Argentina, where he designs and conducts specialized trainings and group therapy sessions focused on personal integration processes.
Additionally, Dr. Warter has provided individual and group psychotherapy services in both Chile and Berkeley, California, maintaining a part-time practice since 1980. Copy
