Dr. Warter has been actively involved in numerous public service actions and charitable functions throughout his career.
His work spans several countries and focuses on providing support for vulnerable populations, including children, the elderly, and refugees. These initiatives reflect his unwavering commitment to human welfare and social responsibility.
Early Public Service Events (1978 – 1979)
In 1978, Dr. Warter began his public service work with the Infant Home “Santisima Trinidad” in Caracas, Venezuela. He also worked with several organizations in Bogota, Colombia, including the Infant Home “Los Cerezos” and the Orphanage “La Pastora.”
His charitable efforts continued in Santiago, Chile, where he contributed to the Center of Social Welfare “Menca di Leone” in 1979, as well as the Children’s Hospital “Roberto del Rio” and the Nursing Home “Mi Casa.”
Dr. Warter’s public service initiatives extended to helping vulnerable children and refugees, as he worked with the Tibetan Refugees Center in Nepal and participated in the Orphanage County Action in 1979.
Focus on Children and Education
Dr. Warter’s commitment to supporting children continued with his work in Venezuela and Colombia. He contributed to the Children’s University Hospital “Lorencita Villegas de Santos” in Caracas and the Children’s Hospice “Santisima Trinidad” in Bogota, Colombia.
Dr. Warter’s focus on education was also evident as he visited and worked with several educational and charitable institutions like the Educational Institute “Carolina Uslar de Rodriguez” in Caracas, Venezuela, and the School Puente Alto in Chile.
Elderly Care and Social Welfare
In addition to his work with children, Dr. Warter contributed to elderly care. His efforts included visiting the Old Age Hospice “Ernesto Pinto Lagarrigue” and the Old Age Home “San Jose” in Santiago, Chile, as well as the Old Age Home “Casa Misericordia” in 1981.
His public service activities expanded to environmental action, including the Forestation by Guasco River project in Bogota, Colombia, in 1981.
Global Public Service and Charitable Functions
Dr. Warter’s commitment to public service also led him to participate in global charitable functions. These included gathering emergency clothes and funds for Bosnia-Herzegovina between 1992 and 1993, and providing construction assistance to Tibetan refugees from 1998 to 2000.
He also contributed to Group Psychotherapy and Habitat for Humanity Functions from 2001 to 2004, further demonstrating his commitment to social and humanitarian causes.
